The National Water Safety Congress (NWSC) Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1951 for the purpose of promoting safe recreational use of our nations waterways. The membership is comprised of federal, state and local agencies, nonprofit organizations, private corporations, and concerned citizens who are committed to the same goals. The NWSC is governed by a board of directors elected by the general membership.
The mission of the National Water Safety Congress is to promote water safety education and professional development to prevent drownings and water-related incidents.
